“My son attended a different preschool prior to CDSCN, and it quite simply wasn’t the right fit for us. After taking many tours of different area preschools to try to decide which would be the right one from there, that worry lifted the moment we walked in the doors to CDSCN. The warmth we experienced from the very first visit was so genuine and special. Ms. Lori and Ms. Ashley are two of the nicest individuals, and they were born to do what they do. This is such a well-run school. It’s a magical place. I was very impressed with many things, including their thorough cleaning procedures, and excellent communication to name a few. A highlight was always a daily report that I would get on my phone, which would include a “Look what I’m doing today!” photo of my child. I loved getting those photos so much. My son attended for one year (Pre-K), and his younger sister attended for 2 years (preschool and Pre-K). I watched them grow exponentially during that time. The teachers have an exceptional way with children. Not only are their teaching methods very effective, but the warmth the staff showed them gave them security, confidence, and most importantly, they felt loved. The school gave my children every tool to succeed. And it was an absolute joy to watch both of them blossom under their care, guidance and instruction. My son graduated from CDSCN last year and is currently in Kindergarten now in the Colts Neck public school system. I can say with certainty that he was more than well-prepared for Kindergarten due to his experience at this school. Preschool is the foundation, and CDSCN is as rock solid as it gets. The impact it has left on my children is permanent and will without a doubt stay with them for the rest of their lives. In short, words cannot adequately express the gratitude we have for all the countless ways CDSCN has touched our lives.”

“When I was looking for a childcare center for our one year old in preparation of returning back to work, it was the most difficult decision I have ever been faced with. I visited (rather, I interviewed) six different facilities and was not satisfied with any of them. I cried before, during and after each visit thinking I would never find any place that I could trust would love my baby enough to care for her while I was away. Then I found the Country Day School of Colts Neck - the first school where I did not feel like I was trying to be “sold” and the first school where I didn’t leave and cry; instead, I called my husband and told him we found our school. The owner, Lori, the director, Ashley and all the teachers at CDSCN are there to love our children. They are attentive, personable, kind, caring and they truly love our children! Each teacher has established a beautiful rapport with my daughter that I love seeing when I pick her up each day. During the first weeks, I was able to call and check in on my daughter and would get an update from a teacher to help me know that she was doing okay. When I would cry because leaving her was so hard, they would hug me and assure me they are taking good care of her. They send daily pictures so I can see my baby girl smiling each day when I can’t be with her. My daughter LOVES going to school here and some of her first words were the names of teachers and students in the class. I am confident that anyone who chooses CDSCN will be very happy! ”

“Since the very first day that we dropped our son off at the Country Day School of Colts Neck four years ago, we were treated like family. The staff is always welcoming and happy to see him and his little sister and make sure they are comfortable and happy from the moment they arrive. Our son adores his teachers and loves the friends he has made there. Although she had already been in a school setting for 2 years, moving to an area that we were unfamiliar with and finding a school that we felt completely comfortable with became a bit stressful.
