4 TO 5 YEARS OLD
In the Pre-K program, children will recognize the links between spoken and written words. Reading readiness is a key component of our curriculum. Our teachers develop cohesive lesson plans to connect several different subjects and help your child develop a deeper understanding of the material. Our classrooms are full of a wide array of books for every imaginative mind!
At the completion of this program, our students are able to read words from the Pre-Primer Dolch Sight Word list and books from the First Little Readers series. They are well-prepared for the challenges of Kindergarten.
Our students will learn more advanced math concepts, continue to make discoveries in science, and expand their Spanish vocabulary. As our students reach their developmental milestones, we strive for maximum success by encouraging a higher level of thinking that will challenge them, instill self-confidence and foster a love for learning.
Creativity is fostered in every classroom, especially in Pre-K. Our teachers emphasize the importance of letting your child grow and express their creative ideas. We encourage each child to be as imaginative as they feel, and love to see the beautiful artwork and self-expression of each student!
As your child embarks on their journey to Kindergarten, they will take with them the interpersonal skills established by teachers and friends alike. Teamwork is emphasized, kindness is instilled, and each child is encouraged to be the best version of themselves in our Pre-K classroom.
